Cipriani understands that some families wish their students to carry a watch or smart phone, however, these items distract from learning.
Cell phones are to be silenced and in back packs at all times while on campus.
If your student has a smart watch they may wear it as long as they only use the clock function while on campus. This includes recess and lunch time. If your student is found playing, texting, or calling on their watch they will not be allowed to wear it while on campus.
If your student needs to reach you during school hours they need to go to the office to make a call home.
Any electronic items may be confiscated by staff if they are out of backpacks or being used during school, this includes handheld video games or toys. They can be picked up in the office after school.
