Do you know who loves when you volunteer? Your kids! 

Multiple studies have shown that active parent engagement increases children’s success in school. 

All volunteers who volunteer at Cipriani during school hours must be cleared through the District’s Volunteer Clearance. To begin the clearance process, please go to the District’s volunteer webpage. 

We encourage you to sign up for Level 2 Volunteer Clearance so you are able to volunteer as a field trip chaperone and more. This requires fingerprinting (only required once for the duration of your time with BRSSD).

The PTA will reimburse you for this one-time cost if you have the fingerprinting done at one of the following locations:

UPS #0426 at 951 Old County Rd in Belmont
WellnessMart, MD at 770 El Camino Real, Suite B in Belmont
UPS Store #2152 at 7 W 41st Ave in San Mateo

Submit the PTA reimbursement form to the PTA Treasurer at treasurer@cipriani-pta.org after you've completed your fingerprinting and volunteer application.

Cipriani PTA Committees

We need parent volunteers to make our events happen. It's a great way to get to know families and to contribute to making a fun event possible as well. Please let us know if you're interested by submitting our interest form and we will follow-up with more details. We have roles big and small, and roles that can be done remotely. 

Help us make these Cipriani PTA events possible:

• Wildcat Carnival - Our fun annual fall event for all families in October.

• Book Fair - Scholastic Book Fair in early December.  All proceeds benefit our school.

• Walk to School Wednesdays - The first Wednesday of each month students get excited to walk to school with friends and neighbors to reduce traffic and practice healthy walking habits.

• Yearbook - Help put our wonderful yearbook together.

• Business Fair - Students make and sell products at this winter holiday fair.

• Read-a-thon - SchoolForce Read-a-thon in January celebrates a love of reading.

• Community Playdates - Grade-level and schoolwide playdates to build community.

• Science Fair - Students share their knowledge and interest in science and the scientific process.

• Dance Party - Celebrate and bust a move in the MUR.

• Talent Show - Students show off what they know and what they can do. A fun end of the year event for the whole family.

• Staff Appreciation Week (May) - Make our staff feel the love.

• Assemblies - Bring new experiences to our students with schoolwide assemblies.
