Cipriani Elementary School Procedures
When your child is a student at Cipriani Elementary School, it’s important to understand and have access to school procedures, rules, and important forms. To help students and parents get the most out of their experience at the school, we’ve made information on school procedures easily and conveniently available online.
Please visit the links to the left for all you need to know about health & medicine; emergency protocol; academics & homework; school meals, and more.

Notice from the San Mateo County Office of Education
The County Health System has asked that we advise you that schools need not request a physician’s note for children to return to school after an influenza-like illness. As long as a child has been fever-free without medication for 24 hours and is well enough to participate in the school routines, he or she should be permitted to return. If needed, schools could require a parent to send a note specifying this.
They caution that medical offices/clinics are very busy now with ill patients as well as their regular schedules, so it’s important not to add patients who do not need medical attention as this will delay treatment for those who really do need to be seen.
Just a reminder to please send this and other alerts to appropriate staff within your district. Thank you.
