software, volunteers etc.), and provide solutions. This applies to the computer lab and
classroom machines. Primary technical
trouble-shooter. Weekly time
commitment varies dependent on condition of machines, but beginning and end
of the school year is a minimum of 10-20 hours. |
| Organize a week of activities to
keep families away from the television |
| Keep our website information up
to date. (In current maintenance-mode, 30 minutes to 1 hour a month spread
out throughout the month). |
| Attend a couple meetings at
Samaritan House each year for program details. Each month give flyers
to the classrooms and post around school. Submit Soup article each
month. Coordinate with the sponsoring teacher for that month to choose two
student helpers to collect donations each month. Collection usually
takes about 30 minutes |
| Create a yearbook of candid
photos of school events and activities using photos you have taken, photos
parents have donated from various events, as well as official school
photos. On-going throughout the year.
Attend school activities, recesses, and classrooms to take pictures.
Coordinate with classroom volunteers who will help with yearbook pages. Final
yearbook is due to printers in mid-March. Yearbook order forms must be
delivered and collected. Yearbook deliveries are made during the last week of
school. |
